What can I expect?
First, expect a warm welcome. Then, expect to see all ages worshiping together. There is an overall atmosphere of reverence, but with a joyful exuberance to it.
How do people dress for worship?
You’ll see everything from “Sunday best’ to casual attire, especially in the summer. Wear what you feel comfortable wearing. We emphasize worship that engages the mind and the heart: we aren’t concerned with appearances.
When are your worship services?
Sunday worship is at 10:45 AM, preceded by Sunday School for all ages at 9:30 AM. We also provide a variety of online worship opportunities, including our Sunday service, Morning Prayer, Evening Prayer, and Lectio Divina. Visit our Worship page for more details.
May I take Communion?
All who have received Trinitarian baptism, in any mode (sprinkling, pouring, immersion), at any age (infancy through adulthood) are welcome at the Lord’s Table. The Presbyterian Church (USA) believes in the ancient, orthodox practice of paedocommunion: “Infants and children are baptized by the church and nurtured in the faith so that they can participate with the church in the sacrament of Holy Communion.” You can read more about the Presbyterian Church’s views on Communion on this page from the denomination.
Do you offer programs for children and youth?
We provide programs for children and teenagers. Participate in engaging Sunday School sessions and take part in special events that create a fun, supportive, and nurturing atmosphere. Visit our Nurture page to discover the most up-to-date activities.
How can I participate in community service?
We provide numerous community outreach initiatives designed to make a positive impact. Contribute to the Backpack Program, which supplies nutritious meals to children in schools, or get involved with our End-of-the-Month community dinners organized in collaboration with our Parish Partners. These programs and many others rely on your support. Email us for more information and learn how you can make a difference.
