This year in the Lectionary, instead of a Hebrew Bible passage as the first reading each Sunday, we have a reading from the Book of Revelation. Most people, when they think of Revelation, may think about the “end times,” and that’s a real shame, because Revelation is foremost a beautiful series of visions describing the glory of an eternal liturgy around God’s throne. Join us for a fascinating look at this much-misunderstood and much-misused book!
