Worship at UPC
Worship Services
At UPC, we embrace the Reality in Ritual. So come experience worship that is awe-inspiring, historic, inclusive, and vibrant. Additionally, we celebrate the Eucharist (Holy Communion or Lord’s Supper) on the first Sunday of each month and on all major Church Feast Days.
The Service for the Lord’s Day
Our main Sunday service, the Service for the Lord’s Day, celebrates Word and Sacrament as detailed in our Directory for Worship from the Book of Order and the 2018 Book of Common Worship. Because our liturgy flows from our faith commitments, at UPC you will experience a liturgy rooted in the historic Church, the Reformed tradition, and the global ecumenical community. Join us for participatory praise focused on Word and Sacrament. The Service for the Lord’s Day is offered both in person and online via Facebook.
Other Services of Worship
Besides the Service for the Lord’s Day, we also provide the Daily Office (Morning and Evening Prayer) from the Book of Common Worship (2018) and Lectio Divina (“Divine Reading”), a meditative scripture reading method. These weekday services are online on our YouTube Channel.
